UPDATE: The Camera came back on. It was most likely a perfectly times malfunction. (I mean, it does happen. Read on if you want).
London is one of the most CCTV’s places outside of China, and because of that it is *usually* very easy to find a live feed.
TFL (Transport for London) run the majority of the publically available feeds in and account London, but when looking at the cameras today something was wrong. I was looking for live feeds from Parliament Square. From this, I’ve discovered that TFL has turned off their Parliament Square camera! The fact that London officials are turning CCTV OFF is concerning!

As you can see in the video above, between 7 am and 8 am today, TFL moved the direction the camera was pointed away from Parliament Square, where the Black Lives Matter protests will be happening, before shutting the camera down completely sometime after 9:47 am.
In the recent week in America, many protests have been inflamed and turned into riots by heavy-handed police who seem intent on stopping people campaigning for racial equality and the protection of the corrupt power brokers who enable racial violence and inequality through their lack of shits to give!
To all protestors! I will find a way to watch. Stay safe and RECORD EVERYTHING!
I have contacted TFL and am awaiting a response!
