Episode 84 of Dragon Ball Super has come and gone, Goku and Gohan are on their journey to build the Universe team an  d it was great as we  two fights and loads of news!

Krillin showed off some of his new move including his new Trump Card, the “Solar Flare x 100”!

We now know just how strong Krillin (and 18) is after fighting both  Gohan (who he beat!) and then Goku, one after the other, with Goku going full god mode and nearly wiping him off the face of the planet.   Android 18 reminded us all of her power when she deflected the deadly Super Saiyan Blue Kamehameha away from her Husband.

Goku learned a valuable lesson, he really needs to chill out as his mindset is to destroy everything but if he acts like this in the tournament he will be eliminated for killing someone.

On the topic of Goku and his demeanour lately, it seems like the writers are really amping up his Saiyan nature to levels he had never know. This build to Goku turning from the happy go lucky guy who loves training and fighting into this battle-thirsty warrior has been a slow one but now it is looks very much like the writers want us to remember he is a Saiyan.

This amping up of Goku’s Saiyan nature is what brought About the Tournament of Power and when he was faced with every other Universe he basically told them all he doesn’t care who they are … just come at me Bro’s!   Where is this going, who knows.  It could be that this thread of Goku’s story may be something that takes us into whatever Arc we are getting after the Universe Survival Saga.

And Finally! We got a glimpse of the NEW Slim Majin Buu who will be making his first proper appearance in Dragon Ball Super Episode 85. In the preview for Dragon Ball Super we got to see a few frames of Majin Buu in his new form, which was something I was keen to see. (Buu rocks in all forms!).

It turns out that we did not have Buu in his “Kid Buu” form (awe), rather we got a more happy version of the “Evil Buu” form of Buu , just without the big Chin and grey skin.

Here’s hoping this is all due to weight loss and he has not started absorbing or rejecting parts of his psyche again, or it could mean big trouble!

It also looks like we are going to see this “Jiran”  from Universe  along with Toppo and the rest of their crew.
